PLEASE NOTE: The following two links offer the two 'official' main sets of 8 Ball Pool playing rules as used throughout the UK at the current time. Neither of these sets of rules are currently used by any formal pool leagues in Haverhill. The Haverhill Thursday Pool League, the Singles League and all league organised competitions are played to the Thursday League Rules. These rules are a unique and independent set of rules that have been developed and modified over many years by successive committees and league managers in the Haverhill area. Formal pool in Haverhill currently has no affiliation or obligation to either set of 'official' rules or their governing bodies.
